On Sunday we found out that our friends Josh and Mei Malin's 15 month old daughter, Grace, has a brain tumor. She was rushed to the Children's Hospital and a shunt was immediately put in to drain some fluid out of it and relive the pressure on her brain. She is doing so much better now. They believe it isn't cancerous but they won't be able to remove it. When she gets older she will have radiation and chemotherapy to reduce the size but for now they will continue to drain it whenever it starts to grow. Josh and Mei are both very hopeful. Lish Olsen and I headed up today to visit with them and to see little Grace. It sure was nice to see her happy and moving around.
We stopped at Walmart on our way out of the city. They asked for a donation to the Children's Hospital. How could we say No?
