When the kids got home from school today they were teasing me that I should be on the show "Doomsday Preppers." I am working on getting our 72 hour kits updated. I realized we only had three and that the food in them was way out of date. I went to the Bargain Barn looking for backpacks and found four brand new backpacks for $1 each. Now I just need to get food in them and then they will be ready to sit on the shelf again. I'm going to try harder to be sure and use up the food before it goes bad and I have to throw it out.
