Today Karen, Thomas and I had a short visit with my great Uncle Lamont Matkin. We wanted to give him a copy of the book "Our Matkin Legacy" that I compiled...thanks to his help. A few years ago he put together a book about his parents which I included in my book. These days Uncle Mont is not doing very well. He had a stroke several months ago which has left his right side paralized and he can no longer read or write. He isn't very happy about how things are, but it was so good to see him...because he reminds me so much of my grandpa.
